Rolfox ("we", "us") runs your job search: finding jobs, matching them to your resume, and, with Premium and explicit activation, reaching out to recruiters and potential referrers. This page explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it.
What we collect
- Your name and email, when you create an account.
- Your resume and the profile we parse from it: target roles, seniority, skills, salary floor.
- Search filters and preferences you set or edit (keywords, locations, sources, company blacklist).
- With Premium: outreach activity and reply content routed through the in-app Relay inbox, and your outreach templates/settings.
- Payment records if you later purchase Premium; payment details are handled by the disclosed payment provider.
- Basic usage data (pages visited, actions taken) to keep the product working and improve it.
How we use it
To build your matched-job digest and dashboard, tailor resumes per job, and, only if you activate Premium outreach, run connected-account referral workflows. We do not sell your data.
Who we share it with
- The payment provider disclosed at purchase time, if you later buy Premium.
- Unipile, which provides LinkedIn connectivity for activated Premium outreach.
- Our email delivery provider, to send your digest, reply alerts, and account emails.
- An AI provider (currently OpenAI), which processes your resume and job-description text to score matches and generate tailored resumes and outreach drafts. It does not use this data to train its models.
We don't share your data with anyone beyond the providers listed above, and we don't sell it.
Automated outreach, honestly
Premium outreach uses a connected sending account whose identity and setup are shown before activation. Automated LinkedIn activity is always opt-in, pausable, capacity-limited, and subject to LinkedIn's terms and provider restrictions.
Cookies & local storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a local-storage entry for your light/dark theme preference. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
Your choices
- Edit or delete your resume and any profile field, anytime, in Settings.
- Pause or stop outreach: globally, per job, or per conversation, at any time.
- Unsubscribe from any email via the link in that email.
- Ask us to delete your account and data: reach out and we'll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, email you directly.
