Job application tracker

Know what needs your attention next.

Keep the job, the resume you prepared and the conversation in one workspace. Rolfox helps you organize your search from the first shortlist to the next follow-up.

Keep the opportunity and its context together

A bookmarked job link cannot tell you which resume you used, whether you already applied or what a recruiter said. A useful tracker keeps these facts distinct so that a busy search does not turn into duplicate applications and repeated messages.

Rolfox's board brings saved jobs and job details into the same product as resume preparation and outreach. Pin opportunities you want to pursue, update application status for actions you take and review outreach progress where it is available.

Separate planned work from completed work

Only mark an application as submitted after you complete the employer's process. Only record a referral when you have confirmation. A prepared resume or an accepted connection request is useful progress, but neither is an application or a referral.

  1. Shortlist the role and verify that the opening is still live.
  2. Review and download the resume version you intend to use.
  3. Apply through the employer's process, then update your tracker.
  4. Check the conversation before deciding whether a follow-up is appropriate.
  5. Close or archive opportunities that are no longer relevant.

Use a short review routine

At the start of a search session, review new matches and incoming replies. Then choose a small number of roles to prepare properly. At the end, update completed actions so your next session starts with an accurate picture.

For example, a saved Bengaluru backend role may need a tailored resume, while a Pune role you already applied to may need no action until the recruiter's stated timeline has passed. Reviewing by the next real action is more useful than measuring progress by the number of saved jobs.

A simple review checklist
Is the role still open? Have I applied, or only prepared? Which resume version did I use? Has someone replied? Is a next step agreed, or am I waiting?

Use these questions with Rolfox or your own notes. They describe a review habit, not automatic detection of every external action.

Common questions

Does Rolfox apply to jobs automatically?
No. You submit the application yourself and record the action. Job discovery, resume preparation and activated outreach are separate from applying.
Can I track job searching without starting outreach?
Yes. Organizing opportunities and preparing applications do not require you to activate LinkedIn sending. Current feature access is described on the pricing page.
